KATE HODGES, doula and director
Kate discovered the value of doula support during the birth of her second child. Her experiences range from an induced and medicated first birth to a completely natural second birth. She brings the value of both experiences to her doula work. She is passionate about the privilege of supporting women during the childbearing year.

CLAIRE CAMPBELL, doula
Claire’s experiences have taught her that carrying and delivering a baby is literally built into a woman’s muscles & bones. Every birth is a rite of passage for the mother (& father) and she has invested much of her time supporting the childbearing family by providing a reverent, thoughtful and practical doula care to numerous families both locally and abroad.

SARAH OWENS, doula
Sarah began doula work in 2001 as part of a hospital-based doula service in St. Louis, Missouri. She also worked as a doula in Boston, Massachusetts and New Haven, Connecticut. Her experiences as a doula have given her the opportunity to work with women and families from very diverse backgrounds. She believes each family has unique needs and her focus is on providing services to help you to feel safe, confident, and supported during pregnancy and birth.

EMILY LOVE HALE, doula
Emily believes in the body’s innate ability to conceive, nurture, and bear a healthy child. She believes in the woman’s inherent strength and wisdom, which serves her to carry, birth, and raise her own child. She believes in the power of a community which supports the Mother in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum and feels honored to serve women in this way as a doula.
